Your journey with Flight-1 starts here. We perform at our best when we are in an environment that we are comfortable in. All disciplines of skydiving require us to safely land our parachute every time. The 100 series is designed to provide the knowledge and skills that we all need to operate effectively within the sport we love. Whether you are just starting out on your journey or an experienced jumper, the 100 series provides the foundation you need. The canopy pilot of today becomes adept with their piloting skills before moving on to something that requires greater experience.

The 200 series provides essential skills we all need to have to skydive safely within our community. How should we use the canopy’s performance effectively in high-pressure situations? Learn how to react correctly using the low-speed and high-speed ranges of the wing. The series takes you through a program of exercises to deal with common situations. Controlling the low speed and high-speed range of the system is fundamental to moving into more specialized areas of canopy flight such as advanced accuracy and building airspeed. The 201 and 202 courses are essential to complete for all skydivers. The 203 course covers the introduction to high performance turns up to 90 degrees and beyond.

The 300 series offers a variety of customized canopy courses. Perhaps you prefer to learn with personal coaching or small groups? Perhaps you are an advanced pilot requiring training for competition, or on your specialized UPT Mutant harness. If you are looking for any of the products above, this is the series for you.

The 400 series is Flight-1 Air-to-Air series. Using advanced radio systems, this bespoke series offers accelerated learning through live feedback from your instructor flying alongside you. Developed with over 15 years’ experience of training military students, Flight-1 offers the most developed air-to-air program in the world. The three-course progression system develops your core skills to become truly “intuitive” and provides the core skills to fly in proximity with others.

Welcome Instructors and Dropzone Owners! Flight-1 offers specialized canopy instructor training. Our flagship product, the Sport Tandem Pilot Course (501) gives canopy specific training to all Sport Tandem Masters, regardless of experience. Our instructor programs provide you and your local instructors with up to date canopy specific training based on our military tandem canopy coaching experience. These courses are designed to provide continuous training improvement for instructors and improve overall safety at your Dropzone.
