The 400 series is Flight-1 Air-to-Air series. Using advanced radio systems, this bespoke series offers accelerated learning through live feedback from your instructor flying alongside you. Developed with over 15 years’ experience of training military students, Flight-1 offers the most developed air-to-air program in the world. The three-course progression system develops your core skills to become truly “intuitive” and provides the core skills to fly in proximity with others.

Flight 401

Flying Relative

(401) is the first step in the Flight-1 Air to Air Program. After a comprehensive brief on canopy collisions, the student is introduced to flying relative to another canopy working in the air with a Flight-1 instructor. Here the pilot learns the true reference of how the controls effect the system relative to another. The "wind tunnel" for canopy pilots.
